After several years of living in another state I decided to move back to Augusta, Georgia. I am a relatively new patient (little over a year). I had neglected dental care for a few years and had to catch up and wanted to start fresh with a new dentist. Went in for an extraction and well let’s just say I left feeling like family! Michelle and her team were amazing, truly made me feel like my dental health matters and less like a job! I’m not one who loves going to the dentist, they make me very nervous but this time I had originally had an appointment with another dentist to have this tooth pulled, mind you, one I had already paid $137 for a x-ray and exam! I called Dr. Claeys office and explained my situation and they had me on the books in 3 days. Her an her staff were truly comforting and brutally honest but in a good way, like the way you wished most people would be, she examed not only the tooth that needed extraction but also my whole mouth. I’ve been to dentist in the past and believe me when I tell you they only concern themselves with exactly what your there for. I went in expecting the same treatment, you know in an out, get it done but I left with a full overview of my teeth and gum health and I’m actually looking forward to the journey to better dental health with Dr claeys and her team. And for me that’s a big deal if your looking for a dentist that cares about your mouth more than you do she’s the one!

Had a great experience with Sonia today. She was very gentle with cleaning my teeth. I have very sensitive teeth and gums and generally hate having to go to the dentist for cleanings. Today was an exceptional appointment! This is my 3rd cleaning at Dr. Michele’s as I switched dentists last year as my previous dentist retired. Sandy did my first cleaning and she was fantastic. It had been a while since I had been to the dentist because of Covid and she took excellent care of me and made sure the experience was pain free. I have used her in the past and wish I had never left. I only left because of insurance reasons and have not been able to find a dentist I like as much. I needed an extraction done and my other dentist referred me to someone else who referred me to an oral surgeon.
